Your Fair’s secret superpower
Every Scholastic Book Fair includes an online shopping opportunity, a feature that empowers your entire school community. Kids can shop online with their family during and after the in-person Fair. That means extra access to books—especially for kids who couldn’t attend the Fair. Online shopping also means extra earning, as every online purchase benefits your school.
How does it work?
Starting on the first day of the Book Fair, families can shop online for 14 days in The Scholastic Store. They’ll connect through a link on your school’s Book Fair homepage. During those 14 days, your school earns 25% of every online purchase in Scholastic Dollars™.
Online sales totals are available in your Fair Details and Settings page and will automatically be added to your Fair’s Financial Form.
For the rest of the year, online purchases earn 2% in Scholastic Dollars when families shop through your school’s homepage or log in to The Scholastic Store. Remember, a family’s Scholastic account must be affiliated with your school in order to earn Scholastic Dollars, so encourage them to connect their account if they haven’t already.
Scholastic Dollars earned through online shopping never expire.

What do families need to know about online shopping?
Make sure everyone has the link to your school’s Book Fair homepage. Families love that Book Fair purchases benefit your school—but that only happens online when they access The Scholastic Store through your homepage.
In The Scholastic Store, families will find everything available at the Book Fair and much, much more! They can choose from thousands of books, including new releases and exclusives, and search by grade, age, format, character and series. All online orders ship direct to home, and standard shipping is free on book-only purchases over $25.*
After the Fair, unused Book Fair eWallet funds transfer to an eGift Card balance shoppers can use online.
How to promote online shopping?

Need to reach your revenue goal?
Online purchases during the 14-day window count toward Fair revenue. When your in-person Fair ends, remind families (especially if they have eWallet balances) there’s still time to shop online.
